All of our Black Nights originally came from the highest quality pure lines imported both from Europe & Asia for diversity.
Over the years we have outcrossed many of our black nights so they will have healthier genetics along with rich dark coloration!
Black Nights are graded on a ranking system. Note that the final darkness of a black night is not known until they reach 40 grams, so we use our experience of how black night genetics age, to grade where the animal is today and where it will most likely stay.
However in many cases black nights will actually gain darkness over time and will rank up as they approach the 40 gram mark.

Our grading system is below:
S Tier - the highest grading, consists of animals that are 95-100% black
A Tier - the second highest grading, animals that are 75-95% black
B Tier - the third highest grading, animals that are 50-75% black
C Tier - the second to last grading, animals that are 25-50% black
D Tier - the last grading, consists of animals that are 0-25% black

Mandarin is a very high end line of tangerine known to produce the most orangy/red toned leopard geckos on the market along with deep green pigments popping out in the linage especially when combined with bold, inferno, or other emerine lines. It is a staple project of what we do here at Geeky Gecko Creations, using it to bring out the best oranges, reds, and greens out of many projects! :D
