Our Fasciolatus Snows have been coined the "Mr. FREEZE" project in light of the famous Batman SAGA. The characteristics of this project seek deeper to create snows that hold their lavenders all the way throughout their lives. We've started finding success with this after just 2 generations, but will continue to refine this unique project for all time and can take it in many different directions! In addition to higher lavenders would be lack of pigment cells all together and lack of any yellow color, hence the name "FREEZE" to signify that the white frosty look of snows when they are babies will stick throughout their entire lives. There is phenotypical (physical expression) variance like with any project, so animals that more highly replicate this look will hold higher value than animals with lower expression of these characteristics! :D

The Fasciolatus sub species of Leopard Gecko is a longer body base animal with a lighter overall color giving the animals a more faded and snow-like look, they also have stronger nails than your typical Macularius, are completely interbreedable with the other 5 subspecies of Macularius, and produce some really amazing animals! Oh, and did I mention they have the highest pitch scream of all the Macularius sub-species! :D

Macularius is thought to be the main sub species of leopard gecko that our hobby is based. There are some trains of thought that suggest all 5 of the major interbreedable subspecies were crossed upon their entry into the leopard gecko hobby. These subspecies include: Macularius, Turcmenicus, Montanus, Fasciolatus, & Afghanicus. Each of these subspecies offer a unique quality of color, size, temperament, vocal pitch, and physical attributes that differ slightly from one another but all 5 are heavily bred and interbred in our hobby today! :)

Mack Snow is by far one of the most commonly worked with traits for  beginners as well as experienced keepers in the leopard gecko hobby. Mack Snow is a true Axanthic morph in leopard geckos meaning lack of "xanthophores" which are responsible for the yellow, red, & orange pigments in the geckos skin. Therefore mack snows will always be a shade lighter when it comes to those color palettes, however the super form which is two copies of the gene inherited from each parent at  conception leaves the gecko a stark white and black all the way through adulthood. A very striking morph that has  monumental potential inside of any project or collection! :D
